Our Veterinary Team

LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital in Cooper City has been providing exceptional, specialized veterinary care since 1994. LeadER is made up of fourteen doctors of veterinary medicine, including seven board-certified specialists in the areas of cardiology, surgery, anesthesia, emergency/critical care, internal medicine, radiation oncology, medical oncology and dermatology.                          
Our staff consists of the most experienced and dedicated veterinary nurses, assistants and client service representatives available. LeadER's critical care and specialty nurses are second to none in their compassion and dedication.

Our veterinary assistants perform a myriad of duties and assist the nurses and veterinarians with treatments; they are also responsible for the sanitation of the pet areas of the hospital and in preventing the spread of disease or parasites. They, along with the nurses are the caregivers, walking, feeding, talking to, and playing with the hospitalized animals.

Jacklyn Johns, DVM
Practice Limited to Emergency & Critical Care Medicine

Dr. Jacklyn Johns was born and raised in South Florida. She worked as a veterinary technician while attending Florida Atlantic University, where she graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Biology. Dr. Johns obtained her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from St. Matthew's University. Her clinical training was at the University of Pennsylvania. She held various leadership positions in organizations, including the Student Chapter of the American Animal Hospital Association, Student Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, and American Veterinary Medical Association. Additionally, she obtained the Dean's Award and Pfizer Small Animal Medicine Senior Excellence Award. Dr. Johns completed an internship at the prestigious Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston. Since that time, she has been working as an emergency clinician. Her primary interests include emergency medicine, critical care and surgery. When Dr. Johns is not practicing veterinary medicine, she loves spending time with her family and traveling.

Tea Gluhak, DVM
Practice Limited to Emergency & Critical Care Medicine

Dr. Gluhak was born and grew up in Zagreb, Croatia until the age of ten when her family moved to Connecticut, and she has lived in multiple places since then including Texas, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Hawaii. Dr. Gluhak obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and History at Warren Wilson College, NC and a Bachelor of Science in Biology at College of Charleston. She then went on to complete her veterinary studies at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.

Following graduation from the University of Tennessee CVM, Dr. Gluhak completed a one-year small animal rotating internship in emergency, internal medicine and surgery at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Charlotte, NC, followed by a small animal surgical specialty internship at Coral Springs Animal Hospital, FL.

During her free time, Dr. Gluhak enjoys multiple outdoor activities including mountain biking, kayaking, hiking with her dogs and going to the beach. She has an 8 year old cat, an 11 year old lab-border collie mix and a recent addition of a 6 month old lab obtained from a rescue who all keep her very busy.

Raz Peress, MVDr
Practice Limited to Emergency & Critical Care Medicine

Born in Israel, Dr. Peress moved to the U.S. where he received his B.S. in Biology from Florida International University. He then continued his education at the Veterinary University in the Czech Republic where he met his wife and later graduated. While in school, he participated in an Externship in Fes, Morocco at the American Fondouk Clinic. After graduating he returned to Israel to practice and become the Medical Manager of the only 24 hour clinic in Jerusalem, Israel. While working there, he developed a special interest in surgery. He recently completed a General Rotating Internship at Hollywood Animal Hospital and his goal is to be board certified in Surgery. In his free time he enjoys rock climbing, surfing, painting, and the occasional snowboarding. He has two pets which have been adopted "in the line of duty", a homeless dog with a broken leg "Barak" and a street cat with a paralyzed leg "Nelly".

Kate Spahn, DVM
Practice Limited to Emergency & Critical Care Medicine

Dr. Spahn was born and raised in Central Florida. Prior to attending veterinary school at the University of Florida, she was a certified veterinary technician for 4 years and then majored in biology at the University of Central Florida. During veterinary school, she developed a strong interest in ophthalmology, as well as critical care cases. She completed a one year small animal medicine and surgery internship in San Antonio, TX, followed by a one year internship at an ophthalmology specialty practice in Miami, FL. Dr. Spahn decided to remain in Florida to pursue a career in emergency and critical care and to stay close to her family and loved ones.

Dr. Spahn is a true adventurer, enjoying all outdoor activities, including scuba diving, kayaking, white water rafting, skydiving, and motocross. From climbing Machu Picchu in Peru to mountain biking the Death Road in Bolivia to up-close encounters with grizzlies in Alaska, she is always up for a challenge both in her personal adventures and professionally. When it is time to relax at home, Dr. Spahn looks forward to coming home to her 8-yr-old black lab, Cordi, to cuddle and play fetch.

Elizabeth Rosainz, DVM
Practice Limited to Emergency & Critical Care Medicine

Dr. Rosainz obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree at Florida International University in May 2005.  Later that year, after her own dog was injured following Hurricane Wilma, she renewed her childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian.  She completed course work in biology for two years at FIU and began veterinary school at St. George’s University in Grenada in 2008.  After one year studying in the Caribbean she transferred to Oklahoma State University and received her DVM degree in May 2012.

Dr. Rosainz completed a 13 month internship at Hollywood Animal Hospital in small animal medicine, general practice, surgery and emergency medicine.  Her main areas of interest include small animal medicine, ophthalmology, soft tissue surgery, and emergency medicine.


Vanessa, ICU Supervisor / Inventory Manager
Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)

Vanessa originates from Queens,New York where she graduated from LaGuardia Community College with A.A.S in Veterinary Technology in 2003. She's been an L.V.T for almost 14 years with experience in general practice, ICU, oncology and surgery. She moved down to Florida in 2009 and has been working at the hospital since then and has worked in Oncology and ICU as well as doing the inventory for the practice. She is now the ICU supervisor since November 2016 and oversees and manages the ICU and specialty nurses and assistants. Her love for animals started at the age of 5 years old and has had that love and compassion for them ever since. Her 4 year old daughter, Isabella seems to now emulate her in that love for animals as well. She has 2 cats named Emma and Leo and enjoys spending time at the beach with her daughter.

Chris, Lead Technician
Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)

Chris was born and raided in south Florida. Both of his parents are from Lima, Peru. Chris received his associates in science in veterinary technology from Miami Dade college in 2006 and has been in our ICU since 2005. Chris is happily married with 2 young boys. He also has a Chihuahua named brainy and a cat named Mae Mae.

Deanna originates from a small town outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her family moved to Ohio where she attended the Columbus State Community College Veterinary Technology program (which was conducted with the Ohio State Veterinary School) in 1988-1989. She moved down to Florida in 1990 and has been working as a CVT since. In 2000, she furthered her education in laboratory medicine, graduating in 2000 with her MLT license. .She has been at Leader Animal specialty since 2010, where she oversees the laboratory and works to fill in for the general practice and emergency services. Deanna has a sincere understanding of our feline friends –she has 7 indoor and spoiled kitties of her own, but also works as our Radioiodine Nurse where she takes care of our I131 patients. On her off time, she enjoys riding motorcycles and spending time at home with her boyfriend and their family.

Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)

Melissa is originally from Queens, New York.  She received her AAS in Veterinary Science Technology from SUNY Farmindale in 1992 and is a Licensed Veterinary Technician.  She has been working at LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital since she moved to Florida in 1995.  For the first six years, she rotated through the general and specialty practice and was also ICU supervisor.  In 2001 she started working in the ER/Critical Care Department.  Melissa attends continuing education courses to keep current on the newest trends in veterinary medicine and is also a member of NAVTA (National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America) and FVTA (Florida Veterinary Technician Association).  When she is not busy in the ER/ICU, Melissa is busy at home with two kids, 5 dogs, a bearded dragon and one very old cat.

Brenda was born and raised in South Florida. She is a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) who graduated from Sanford Brown 2011 with Associate of Science Degree in Veterinary Technology. Volunteering for Vanishing Species as a child with her mother taking care of tigers, lions and bears she found her love for animals. Brenda joined the LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital family in 2012, working in the ICU. She is also member of our on-call team, one week every month she can be called in for emergency endoscopy, emergency surgery scrub nurse and for emergency back up in our ICU. In her free time she is studying to become a Veterinary Technician Specialists in Emergency and Critical Care and enjoys spending time with husband and their two sweet Boxers.

Judy is originally from Kokomo, Indiana, but now calls Okeechobee, Florida her home.  In 1997 she received her AAS degree in Veterinary Technology from BRCC in Virginia.  She has been working at LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital since 2002.  Prior to joining LeadER she worked at other Specialty Hospitals along the East Coast.  She enjoyed moving every few years due to her husband being in the military.  She is a member of the NAVTA and FVTA.  Judy has always had a love for animals and couldn't think of a better job to be able to help them.  On her off time, she enjoys bass fishing tournaments with her husband, and spending time with her large family of cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, bird, turtles and fish.

Yoli graduated from LaGuardia Community College in New York with an AAS in Veterinary Science Technology and is a Licensed  Veterinary Technician.  She began working at LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital in 1998.  After a few years of working during the day in our general/specialty practice, she joined the ER/Critical Care department.  Yoli enjoys working alongside our doctors and dealing with the challenge of nursing our most complicated cases.  Seeing her patients recover and return home to their families gives her great satisfaction.  She is a member of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA).  When she is not at work, Yoli enjoys spending time with her two sons, her dog and her tortoises.

Bailey graduated from St. Petersburg College in 2012 with an A.S. in Veterinary Technology.  I then became an ICU nurse at the University of Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine where she worked for 2 years.  Bailey then moved to Naples, FL where she was trained in Oncology.  Now, she works in LeadERs Emergency & Critical Care Department.  Bailey enjoys video games and playing darts with her friends.

Amber was born and raisers in Newport Beach California . She moved to Ormond beach Florida with her family in 2005. Amber has always been passionate about animals . Her mother is a veterinarian and she has been very fortunate to have learned so much from her as well as handling and caring for exotic animals . Amber is a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)  and graduated from Penn Foster . She also pursed business and administration at UCF . Amber's goals and dreams for the future are to learn and retain as much knowledge as she can in the veterinary filed so she Can better care for our patients . She hopes to one day manage her mothers hospital.

Room Technician

Born in England, Charlotte grew up in a house always occupied with pats which gave her a love and passion for animals. Her family later moved to South Florida in '98. She graduated with her Associates from Broward College then moved to Orlando and worked as a zookeeper for a couple years, gaining experience with exotic animals such as alligators, emus, venomous snakes, etc.

Charlotte moved back to South Florida and attended the Veterinary Technician Program at Miami Dade and started working at a kennel with an an animal hospital. Within less than a year, she was moved up as an assistant. After being at that facility for 5 years, she decided to have a change of scenery and started working at LeadER in August of 2015. She is now an Emergency triage nurse for the ICU. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym, and relaxing at home with her two Boston terriers and boxer, Zuri, Orion, and Finn.


Claudio was born in Brazil and raised in Orlando until the age of 12. In 1997, he moved back to his country with his family. Claudio’s admiration for animals led to him graduating in June of 2008 with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in São Paulo at FMU. After practicing for three years in small animal clinics, he moved by himself to Miami. In order to continue his career in another country, Claudio enrolled himself in the ECFVG program to obtain a veterinary license in the US and pursue specialty in surgery. He speaks three languages fluently and is currently learning the fourth. Considers himself a world citizen, constantly traveling and loves exploring new grounds. Claudio enjoys tennis, movies and any type of outdoor activity. He is always in need for adventure and searching for the next best thing in any life situation. He is very passionate and often inspired by different ideas, attitudes and experiences.

ICU Assistant

Courtney was born and raised in Miami. Her father is from Puerto Rico and her mother is from the Philippines. Growing up, Courtney always had a love for all animals, having a rescued dog named Tyson and a cat named Gracie at home. She is currently in school working on her Bachelor Degree in biology. Once that is completed Courtney hopes to apply to a school to become a certified Veterinary Technician and later down the road work toward becoming a Veterinarian. Courtney is excited to have joined the LeadER team and looks forward to learning many new things.

Patient Care Assistant

Elen moved to south Florida from Brazil in 2005.  Elen has several years experience as a kennel assistant/dog walker and pet sitter.  She is married with 3 children.  Elen if the proud owner of a cat named Tikina and an english bulldog named Brutus.



Elizabeth joined our team in 2017. 


Eneida has been part of our team since 1993.  She assists our doctors and technicians in caring for their patients.  Cleaning, keeping our ICU well stocked, holding patients for exams, x-rays, blood work and procedures, walking the dogs and giving love to every patient are just some of her responsibilities.  At home, Eneida has two sons, birds, dogs, cats, reptiles and takes care of the neighborhood ducks.


Born and raised in South Florida, Jared is a certified Veterinary Assistant. He is currently a senior in the class of 2017 at West Broward High school, where he is an active member of the Veterinary Assisting program. He was recently enrolled at Auburn university for the Fall 2017 semester and plans on majoring in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. Growing up in a house full of pets, he can’t remember a time when he didn’t want to work with animals. Prior to working at LeadER, he volunteered at the Humane Society of Broward County and with the Veterinary assisting program at his school. Working at LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital has really given Jared an opportunity to connect with highly knowledgeable and skilled nurses and doctors that give him lessons in patient care and comfort every day. The duties Jared is responsible for include keeping the ICU cleaned and stocked, as well as handle and restraining animals. In his free time, he enjoys being with his family and going to the movies.


Jeremy has been in the veterinary industry since 2008 and has been a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) since 2013. He received his veterinary technician degree from St. Petersburg College in 2012 and a business and sports management degree from Dakota Wesleyan University in 2006. His vast veterinary experience includes exotic animal medicine, general practice medicine, emergency medicine, surgery and anesthesia and shelter medicine. He is originally from South Dakota and moved to Florida in 2006 to get away from the snow and cold weather. He is an avid supporter of pitbull type dogs (pibbles), animal rescues and shelters, and operates a guinea pig rescue called Crazy Cavies Guinea Pig Rescue on his days off from the hospital. His zoo at home includes several cats and dogs, many of whom are paralyzed or have birth deformities. Outside of work he loves to spend time motorcycle riding and spending time with his family.

Katrina grew up in Weston, FL.  She attended Florida International University where she received her BA.  She played soccer collegiality, for FIU, for her National team of Jamaica and was offered to play professionally in Belgium.  After 3 knee surgeries her dream of playing soccer was diverted and she followed her dream of helping animals.  She went on to attend Miami Dade College where she graduated from their Veterinary Technology Program. and passed her National board exam to earn her CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician).  In her free time Katrina enjoys playing sports and going to the gym, camping and shooting at the range with her husband.  She also enjoys spending time with her 3 pets, Bonnie, Daenerys and Grace.



Miriam was raised in South Florida. She went to school for Culinary Arts and Elementary education. Miriam has been in the veterinary industry since she was 17 years old. Starting as a receptionist and working her way to being a technician. She has been working ER since 2011 after having her first child. Miriam  has two little girls and two kitties. She doesn't have much free time but when she does, Miriam loves to go to the beach and photography.



Rochelle was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. She attended LaGuradia Community College where she received her degree in Veterinary Technology. Rochelle has a beautiful  daughter named Raevyn.  She also has a fur baby named Pupalina.  She works at LeadER as a Triage nurse helping save lives and living her dream.



Working at Leader Animal Specialty Hospital has truly opened up so many doors for me. I am an ICU Vet Tech Assistant but strive to become a Vet Technician. I've always had a love for animals both exotics and domestic. I will be starting school next year to begin my journey onto becoming a certified Vet Technician. My goal is to become an Animal Cop and work at an ASPCA. I want to be able to speak for those who have no voice. My passion is to rescue and treat animals back to good health. I would also like to travel and rescue animals from all over the world. I will eventually like to open up my own sanctuary or rescue facility. I am a strong believer in; "Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened." Remember, "Love, is a four-legged word."


Veronica was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to south FL four years ago and has been working in the veterinary field for four years. She plans on attending school to further her experience in this field. On her spare time she enjoys gardening, and spending time with her family which includes her 3 pups.


Born in Miami, Florida. Victoria's family has always supported her love for animals. When she was younger, Victoria enjoyed volunteering at an animal hospital near her home. Victoria is currently in school to gain her associates in science in veterinary technology. Her goal is to complete her national board exam to become a certified veterinary technician. In her free time she enjoys playing with her Cocker Spaniel named "Millie", and her Carpet Python named "Ron Snakey Swonson". She also happily cares for a Boxer named "Boomer" and a Staffordshire named "Niko".

Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)

Diana was born in Colombia, moved to Florida in 1994.  She became a CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician) from Penn Foster college in 2012 and has been at LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital since 2004 in the cardiology department.  Her favorite interests are assisting Dr. Schroeder during invasive cardiology procedures such as pacemaker implantation and thoracotomy for patent ductus arteriosus ligation and subtotal pericardectomy.  She loves making her clients and patients feel warm and welcomed as if they were her own family.

Veterinary Technician

Edgar was born in Florida and has been working in LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital's ICU and emergency services since 2010.  He joined the Cardiology Department in December 2014 and has enjoyed every educational moment of it.  He is currently attending college and working towards a degree in Marine Biology.  Some of his interests include jogging and painting as well as spending time with his two cats.

Karen Marin, D.V.M.
Specialty Surgery Intern

Dr. Marin dreamed of becoming a veterinarian for as long as she can remember. She originates from Brooklyn, New York and is of Ecuadorian heritage. She completed her Bachelors degree in Animal Science and Biology at Cornell University. She attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the beautiful island of St.Kitts and completed her clinical training at Purdue University. She completed a rotating internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in New Jersey and a surgical internship at VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital. Dr. Marin has a strong interest in surgery, radiology and emergency medicine. She is very excited to begin her residency journey to become a board certified surgeon.

In her free time, she enjoys scuba diving, dancing and traveling. She also has a passion for learning different languages. She is fluent in Spanish and conversationally fluent in Quechua, a language with Incan ancestry spoken in South America. Her next goal is to become fluent in Portuguese. She is very excited to be in Florida and to be a part of LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital!"

Surgery Technician Supervisor


Liz's original career path did not involve working with animals, she graduated from FIU with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. It was at 25 that Liz changed her career path. She began to volunteer at local shelters and decided that working with animals. With on the job training Liz quickly became a well versed technician, she has experience with emergency/ critical care but her passion lies within surgery. Liz currently is working on her certification but has been in the field for over 5 years. On her days off she enjoys kayaking, going to the beach, working out and spending time with family. Liz has three dogs, two pit bulls named Bella and Maya, and a beagle named Pebbles.

Misti Reyes, CVT graduated with honors from the Veterinary Technician program at Yakima Valley Community College in 2007. She worked at a busy general practice in the Tri-Cities, Washington for 5 years prior to moving to Florida. She joined the LeadER Surgery department in 2012. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and their 2 cats.


Milly started working at LeadER back in 2002.  She takes care of the kennel and assists in the surgery department.  Milly was born and raised in Lafayette Indiana, moved to Florida in 1969.  She has been with her husband for over 30 years.  Milly loves to read and spend time with her furry four legged kids.  



Haley joined our team in 2017. 



Kellie started working at LeadER back in 2006.  It was always a dream of hers to work with animals.  She is married with 7 children and 12 grandchildren.  Kellie has 2 dogs, loves hockey, baseball and doing arts and crafts. 


Sam started working at LeadER right after high school. He became an ICU assistant in October 2016. Sam hopes to one day be a technician and build experience in all departments. He has a 9 year old furbaby at home which he adopted through the Dachshund Rescue of South Florida. He appreciates long walks on the beach and owners who bring in donuts.

Johanna received her CVT license in 2013 from Miami Dade Medical Center. She started working in Lead-ER shortly after and has been working with us for 3 years. Among those 3 years, she has worked in Surgery, General Practice, Oncology, and ICU. Wanting to expand her knowledge and skill set, Johanna recently began working with Dr. Alvarez in Internal Medicine; furthermore, she plans on pursuing a specialization degree in her two passions: anesthesia and analgesia.

Mio recieved her CVT license from Miami-Dade College Medical Center in 2009. She started working in specialty medicine as an ICU nurse, where she found a true interest for Emergency and Critical Care. While supporting other departments such as Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology and Neurology, she decided to expand her knowledge as an Internal Medicine nurse. After dedicating 8 years of her veterinary profession to critical care in ICU, she enjoys each educational moment as Dr. Lucia Alvarez' IM nurse.

Jennifer, Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)

Jennifer joined LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital in August 2016. She graduated from Pittsburgh’s Vet Tech Institute in 2007. In early 2008, she was licensed as a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT). Jennifer worked in general practice for the first two years of her career. During that time, she was the surgical nurse and Director of Pet Nursing. In 2009, she joined the Dermatology department at a veterinary specialty hospital in Pittsburgh. It was at this job that Jennifer discovered her love for all things skin related. She is currently working toward her specialty certification in Dermatology. When she is not doing what she loves at work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her two dogs, reading, and watching movies.

Hospital Administrator

Kim is a native Floridian and graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration. Upon graduating from college Kim started her own management consulting business. In 1987 after spending several years consulting for dentists, physicians and the automotive industry, Kim began her career consulting in the veterinary profession. With over twenty two years experience in the management of veterinary hospitals, Kim joined LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital in 2005 as their Hospital Administrator.

Darryl Schumaker
Practice Manager

Darryl grew up in the Midwest graduating in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics. Upon graduating from college, Darryl started his career in Washington, D.C. managing a Congressional Office for a U.S. Congressman and later went on to manage and produce 2 Emmy award winning television shows (The McLaughlin Group & McLaughlin One on One) with the late John McLaughlin. Darryl also was the Director of the International Summit of Young Technology Leaders, an educational organization that brought technology leaders and high achieving high school students together.  In 2002, Darryl moved to south Florida to begin his career consulting and managing several large veterinary practices and directing 2 non-profit animal aide groups.  Darryl joined LeadER in February of 2016.

Darryl is married and has 4 small dogs.

Client Liason/Social Media Manager

Renee was born and raised in Denver Colorado. She moved to south Florida in 1982 and began a 23 year career in real estate. Renee always had a special love and compassion for animals and always wanted to work in the veterinary field.

In 2007 Renee decided it was finally time to do something she had always loved and took a veterinary assistant course. Upon completing the course she began her career with Animal Medical Center/LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital. Renee spent her first year working in our laboratory department and soon realized with her excellent customer service skills and her love and compassion for animals she wanted to join our client service team as one of our receptionists. In 2013 Renee also began working on our social media facebook page. In 2016, after over 8 years working with AMC/LeadER Renee is now our Client Liason and Social Media Manager.

In her spare time there is nothing more Renee would rather be doing than spending time with her family, which includes four, four legged children, Maximus, Sophia, Bunny and Angel.

Front Desk Supervisor

Bobbi is originally from Durban, South Africa. She graduated from the University of Natal, Durban with a Bachelor of Social Science and majors in Industrial Labor Studies and Sociology. Bobbi has travelled the USA and internationally and has enjoyed many multicultural experiences. She loves being a wife and mom to two children, two dogs and four cats. With a passion for animals Bobbi started in the veterinary field here at LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital in 2006. She loves helping clients and ensuring all patients well-being.


Aimee Griswold was born in Miami, Florida. She has been working in the bookeeping, administration, and accounting field for several large companies for the last 16 years. In August of 2007 she joined LeadER Animal Specialty Hosptial as the bookkeeper.


Milly started working at LeadER back in 2002.  She takes care of the kennel and assists in the surgery department.  Milly was born and raised in Lafayette Indiana, moved to Florida in 1969.  She has been with her husband for over 30 years.  Milly loves to read and spend time with her furry four legged kids.

Ashlie was born in Hollywood, Fl. Ashlie started volunteering in the veterinary field at about 12 years old at a rehabilitation facility. From there she went on to becoming an employee, where she was also a technician and rehab nurse for about 8 years. Years later she then went on to becoming a receptionist at Lead ER back in May 2016 where she have never been happier. She loves to be outdoors and just spend quality time with her family. She has been an animal lover since she was born, and she now owns 7 cats and 2 dogs, and a fiancé. She moved to Coral Springs, FL where she started a family and had a beautiful baby girl.
