He then pursued his DVM at Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2007. He completed a small animal rotating internship at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Charlotte, NC in 2008 and then completed his anesthesia residency at the University of Pennsylvania in 2011. Dr. Boruta enjoys advanced anesthesia and pain management, including the use of locoregional techniques such as nerve blocks to minimize the amount of pain medication required to keep a pet comfortable after a surgical procedure. Dr. Boruta understands that anesthesia is stressful for all animal owners, and he enjoys meeting with every client to address their concerns regarding anesthesia for their pets.
