Professional Experience

  • Dr. Marin dreamed of becoming a veterinarian for as long as she can remember. She originates from Brooklyn, New York and is of Ecuadorian heritage and is Bilingual. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Biology at Cornell University. She attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the beautiful island of St. Kitts and completed her clinical training at Purdue University. She completed a rotating internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in New Jersey and a surgical internship at VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital. Dr. Marin completed a second surgical internship and a three-year surgical residency at LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital. She has received specialty training in soft tissue, orthopedic, neurosurgery, oncologic, joint replacement and minimally invasive surgery.

Procedures preformed include:

  • All soft tissue surgeries
  • Oncologic surgery
  • All orthopedic surgeries
  • Minimally invasive orthopedic procedures: Arthroscopy, fluoroscopic fracture repair (including stifle examination during TPLOs)
  • Minimally invasive soft tissue surgery: laparoscopy and thoracoscopy
  • Kyon Zurich Cementless Total Hip Replacement
  • Neurosurgery: Hemilaminectomy, Ventral slot, Dorsal laminectomy, Spinal fractures
  • Penn Hip certified
